Tom Atterton joined the team in July 2025 as a Paraplanner, holding a Diploma in Personal Financial Services (Dip PFS) and membership of both the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
Tom has four years of experience in financial services, having previously worked in sales before transitioning into the sector. As part of his career pathways development, further to providing paraplanning support on complex pension, protection, and inheritance tax cases, Thomas was appointed an Associate Financial Planner in April 2026.
Currently, Tom is continuing his studying to further develop his Financial Planning expertise. Tom is based at our office in the centre of Aberdeen at Blenheim House.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle with interests in paddleboarding, wild swimming, and kayaking. He's also passionate about food and drink, and enjoys playing the guitar in his spare time.
